Fall is one of my favorite seasons, but it is also the busiest season of the year for me. This past Fall was no exception. In fact, it was my most busiest fall so far! It was packed with portrait sessions, team pictures, shuttling Parker to his football practices, and -of course- football games.
Because I wasn’t busy enough, I added taking pictures for the local paper. I loved it, it gave me the opportunity to attend events I never would have known about. The best part was that I could bring my boys along with me!
Whenever I would see something that caught my eye on my endeavors, I would snap a picture of it. I would be reminded that the image existing at home editing, but with other projects being the priority the images have been dormant on my hard drive.
One of my favorite kinds of shots are detail shots. I feel that they can be left up to the viewer to interpret them. Any detail shots I capture are for a reason but I don’t feel that it is up to me to explain why it was worth taking.
Here are some of my favorite fall detail shots. Some of them are from events that I was at for the paper, but others are from sessions I had throughout the season.
